One of my all time favourite filming moments was the episode The Golden Whistle in The Grimleys for ITV 1. I played the part of the Welsh PE Mistress Miss Thing opposite Brian Conley's brilliant portrayal of Doug "Dynamo" Digby, the sadistic PE Master. We had such fun filming it. The series was a 1970's comedy-drama set in a school in Dudley, West Midlands. It was written by the talented Jed Mercurio and also starred Amanda Holden, Noddy Holder, Jan Ravens, James Bradshaw and Nigel Planer. It was hilarious. It would be a breath of fresh air if ITV brought back brilliant comedies like The Grimleys instead of saturating the network with dreadful reality TV shows!!
